Link settings explained

Every link in Lynkd has a set of configurable options. Open any link and click Edit to access them.

Destination URL

The full URL your visitors will be redirected to. You can update this at any time — existing short links will immediately point to the new destination.

Custom slug

A human-readable alias for your link (e.g. /summer-sale). Available on Starter and above. Slugs must be unique and can only contain letters, numbers, and hyphens.

Link expiry (Starter+)

Set a date and time after which the link will stop redirecting. Visitors will see a "link expired" page instead. Useful for time-limited promotions.

Password protection (Agency)

Require visitors to enter a password before being redirected. The password is set by you and is not stored in plain text.

UTM parameters

You can append UTM parameters directly in the destination URL, or let Lynkd append them automatically via the UTM builder in the link editor. Standard parameters supported:

  • utm_source
  • utm_medium
  • utm_campaign
  • utm_content
  • utm_term

Tags (Marketer+)

Assign one or more tags to organise links into folders. Tags are searchable from the Links page.
