Maintaining the security of your account
All activity that occurs under your account
Ensuring your account information is accurate and up to date
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use Lynkd to shorten, share, or promote URLs that:

Contain malware, viruses, or any malicious code
Lead to phishing pages or fraudulent content
Distribute spam or unsolicited communications
Contain illegal content including but not limited to child exploitation material
Infringe on intellectual property rights of third parties
Promote violence, hate speech, or discrimination
Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws
Attempt to circumvent our rate limiting or abuse the free tier

We reserve the right to disable any link and terminate any account that violates these policies without prior notice.

5. Free and Paid Plans

Lynkd offers a free tier and paid subscription plans (Pro and Business). The free tier includes a limited number of link creations per month. Paid plans unlock additional features including unlimited links, advanced analytics, custom slugs, and API access.

Plan limits are enforced automatically. Exceeding the free tier limit will require an upgrade to continue creating links. We reserve the right to modify plan pricing and features with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.

6. API Usage

API access is available on paid plans. You may not use the API to create automated spam links, circumvent rate limits, or resell API access to third parties. We reserve the right to revoke API keys that violate these terms or that are used in a manner that degrades service quality for other users.

7. Link Availability

While we strive for high availability, we do not guarantee that shortened links will remain active indefinitely. Links on the free tier may be subject to expiration policies. We are not liable for any loss resulting from a link becoming unavailable. Users are encouraged to maintain records of their original URLs.

8. Intellectual Property

The Lynkd platform, including its design, code, branding, and content, is owned by Lynkd and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the URLs and content you submit to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process and store your links for the purpose of providing the Service.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lynkd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
