Analytics numbers look wrong

It is common to see slight differences between Lynkd's click counts and other tools (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, etc.). Here is why:

Bot filtering

Lynkd automatically filters known bot and crawler traffic. If you see fewer clicks in Lynkd than in another tool, it is likely because the other tool is counting bots.

Unique vs. total clicks

Make sure you are comparing the same metric. Lynkd distinguishes between total clicks (all redirects) and unique visitors (distinct browsers). Many tools default to unique visitors.

Time zone differences

Lynkd stores all timestamps in UTC. If your other tool uses a local time zone, day-boundary clicks may appear in different date buckets.

Ad blockers

Some visitors use browser extensions that block tracking scripts. Lynkd's redirect counting happens server-side and is not affected by ad blockers, but client-side tools (GA, Pixel) may miss these visitors.

Date range mismatch

Double-check that both tools are using the same date range and that neither is applying an additional filter.

If the discrepancy is large (more than 10–15%) and none of the above explains it, please contact support.
