My link is not redirecting

If your short link is not working, work through the following checks:

1. Check if the link is active

Open the Links page and look for the link. Check its status:

  • Active — the link should be redirecting. Move to step 2.
  • Expired — the link has passed its expiry date. Edit the link and update or remove the expiry date.
  • Disabled — the link has been manually disabled. Click the toggle to re-enable it.

2. Check the destination URL

Edit the link and verify the destination URL is correct and reachable. Paste it into a browser to confirm.

3. Check your custom domain (if applicable)

If you are using a custom domain, verify that the CNAME record is still pointing to cname.lynkd.ink. DNS changes at your registrar can sometimes revert.

4. Check for a plan limit

On the Free plan, if you have exceeded 200 tracked clicks in the current month, new clicks are still redirected but are not counted in analytics. The link itself will still work.

5. Still not working?

Contact support at [email protected] with the short URL and the error message you see.
